All-Star Five – Week 23
There’s a familiar look to our line-up this week as two players retain their starting five slot, including one who racked up the second-best performance of the entire season. There are even a pair of debutantes as well.

Mike DiNunno (Cheshire Phoenix)
It was a truly fantastic weekend for Cheshire as they took a win at Newcastle, prior to beating Sharks on home soil which was largely down to the playmaker. DiNunno grabs a debut place in our fantastic five lighting it up from behind the arc with seven triples on his way to 29 points. He only just missed out on a double-double by one assist and did it defensively with five steals.

Jordan Davis (DBL Sharks Sheffield)
Our second debut berth is snapped up by the Sharks’ guard who was on top form for his side in a hard-fought home win against Glasgow Rocks. Davis came up with a smart and nicely balanced inside-outside shooting effort as he corralled 20 points. He also dished out eight assists and hauled down six rebounds in a typically eye-catching display.

Alex Owumi (London Lions)
The swingman was on fine form in front of the BBC Sport cameras at the Copper Box as he produced a rare and superb triple double against Plymouth Raiders. Owumi had the hot hand from long-range as he dropped five three-pointers for 15 points. He also handed out 10 assists and harvested 10 boards to complete a fine stat-line.

Earl Brown (Cheshire Phoenix)
The Phoenix forward keeps his place in our starting five after recording the second-best performance efficiency valuation of the 2016-17 season. Brown became only the second player to hit the magic 40-mark after a sensational 28-point and 14-rebound double-double in the overtime win at Eagles. He made a staggering 13 of 15 inside the paint and also registered three assists.

Maurice Walker (Worcester Wolves)
Our second returnee from Week 22 is the Wolves’ powerhouse who was also a handful under the hoop as Worcester completely dismantled Leeds. The visitors couldn’t cope with the muscle of Walker as he went 75% from the field en-route to 25 points, while also sealing a super double-double with 12 rebounds. And, for good measure he dished up six assists and blocked two shots.

Off the bench – Jack Isenbarger (Leeds Force), Jordan Williams (Surrey Scorchers), Aaron Cosby (Bristol Flyers), Kieron Achara (Glasgow Rocks), Donte Nicholas (Plymouth Raiders), Orlan Jackman (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle), Tony Wroblicky (DBL Sharks Sheffield).
